Ayala Land Inc. (ALI) continues to develop the 74-hectare former FTI complex in Taguig as a township with a mix of residential, retail, office, and hotel components. Dubbed as ARCA South, it will have the signature quality of an Ayala Land development where open green spaces and public parks are present. ALI plans to unveil ARCA South’s masterplan and its variety of offerings within the second quarter of 2014. Major road works and the installation of underground utilities are underway as the Company sets the formidable platform on which a modern, world-class, integrated development will rise. Ayala Land Premier and Alveo will be the first two residential brands in ARCA South.
Recognizing what potentially will become the first major, transport-oriented township and center for business in the country, various investors and promising locators have secured their stakes in the development, with only 14% of the total commercial lot offerings remaining.
Unique to ARCA South is its strategic location and high potential for public convergence. It is located along the East Service Road of the South Luzon Expressway and is easily accessible via C-5. The development will be beside the much-anticipated modern Integrated Transport System (ITS) planned by the Department of Transportation and Communication.
The ITS will serve as a central station for all provincial buses carrying passengers to and from Laguna, Batangas, Quezon and the Bicol Region. The PNR rail station, which is located beside the ITS, will link passengers to other areas of Metro Manila, and the rest of Luzon. The project was recently approved for implementation by the NEDA board.
ARCA South will have direct links from the Metro Manila Skyway, C-5, and C-6 highways, making it more accessible from various areas including the international airport, the Makati Central Business District and Bonifacio Global City.
